Seribu Islands Participate in 2023 AEO Exhibition at ICE BSD

The Seribu Islands Regency admimistration participated in the 2023 Autonomy Expo (AEO) Apkasi exhibition organized by the Regency Administrations Association (Apkasi) at ICE BSD, Tangerang.

It is an honor for us to take part in this big event

Seribu Islands Deputy Regent, Muhammad Fadjar Churniawan disclosed the Apkasi Autonomy Expo exhibition will take place for three days starting from July 20-22, 2023. It is an annual agenda that displays and promotes local Indonesian products.

"It is an honor for us to take part in this big event. Because all products of natural wealth and local wisdom of districts throughout Indonesia are exhibited here," he said, Thursday (7/20).

Thousand Islands to Participate in APKASI Exhibition

Hopefully, it could introduce the potential of SeribubIslands to other regions throughout Indonesia. It is because it is an event to introduce the superior products of each region that have advantages in the tourism sector.

"Hopefully, our booth will not be inferior to other regions. Because there are many unique products that we offer," he expressed.

Seribu Islands Industry Trade Cooperative Small and Medium Enterprises Sub-agency (PPKUKM) Head, Bangun Richard explained his party was displaying products from Jakpreneur.

"20 types of products on display, consisting of culinary and kraft. They are the superior products of Seribu Islands," he explained.

He added the types of superior products being marketed include breadfruit chips, seaweed lunkhead, fish crackers, and processed seafood products. It includes handicraft products made from marine waste such as decorative lamps, photo frames, ashtrays, and key chains.

"This activity is very beneficial for Seribu Islands," he stated.
